Job summary

Michelle Waterworth Recruitment is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to manage and develop a specialist desk across MedTech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Biotechnology and Life Sciences sectors. You will work with UK and international clients and candidates, with full remote working and regular visits to the Yorkshire/Midlands office.

This role offers autonomy, strong leadership support, and a clear pathway to seniority for high performers, along with a competitive uncapped commission structure

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a fee-earning Recruitment Consultant role is essential.
• Experience in MedTech, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Biotechnology, HealthTech, Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences recruitment would be advantageous.
• Proven track record of billing success and developing client relationships.
• Experience managing the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement.
• Strong business development, networking and candidate sourcing skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working successfully within a fully remote environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing a specialist recruitment desk within the MedTech and Life Sciences sectors.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates across the UK and global markets.
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement and account management.
• Working on a mix of retained, exclusive and contingent assignments.
• Sourcing, interviewing and presenting high-calibre candidates for permanent and contract opportunities.
• Growing existing client accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Maintaining a consultative approach to candidate and client management.
