Cool Earth seeks a Major Donor Manager to grow philanthropic income by developing and managing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth supporters. You will secure transformational gifts within a new five‑year strategy, building long‑term partnerships across the UK, US and global markets.

You will lead personalised cultivation, proposals and strategic asks, reporting progress and forecasting while collaborating with the Senior Manager, Partnerships and Philanthropy to shape the programme.

Qualificações

• A track record of personally securing five‑ and six‑figure gifts from individuals.
• Experience finding and developing new donor relationships, not only managing existing ones.
• Confidence in making asks for significant and multi‑year gifts.
• Strong writing skills, with experience producing persuasive, tailored proposals.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and pipeline with accurate records and forecasting.
• Sound ethical judgment in due diligence and sensitive donor relationships.
• Ability to work across teams and influence colleagues without line management.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders on introductions, cultivation and asks.
• Commitment to Cool Earth’s mission and IPLC leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Prospect, cultivate and manage relationships with major donors across UK, US and international markets.
• Identify new opportunities and develop tailored proposals and donor communications.
• Make significant, multi‑year asks with involvement of senior leaders or trustees as needed.
• Provide personalised stewardship to demonstrate impact of support.
• Grow income and renew/expand multi‑year commitments; forecast and report progress.
