Compassion is seeking a Philanthropy Manager (Major Donors) to build relationships with high-net-worth individuals across the UK and Europe, inspiring and securing significant philanthropic investments.

You will manage a diverse donor portfolio, write compelling proposals and impact reports, and collaborate with teams to meet ambitious income targets in a GDPR-compliant, ethical fundraising environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience fundraising from high-net-worth individuals.
• Experience soliciting personal gifts of £10,000+.
• Ability to write funding proposals and impact reports.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and KPIs.
• Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
• Familiarity with GDPR and fundraising ethics.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting donor relationships with high-net-worth individuals across the UK and Europe.
• Grow the major donor community with UK and European prospects.
• Secure significant gifts and multi-year donations for Compassion.
• Create persuasive donor communications and funding proposals.
• Drive performance and growth through KPIs, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Collaborate across Philanthropy, Prospect Research, Programmes and Finance, while maintaining Salesforce records.
