Job summary

Gallagher Bassett, a leading claims solutions provider in the UK, seeks a Field Team Manager – Loss Adjusting Services to lead a team of fee-earning Loss Adjusters across a defined region. You will drive performance, deliver outstanding service, and support clients, brokers, and policyholders.

This remote role requires strong leadership, technical loss adjusting knowledge, and the ability to coach staff, review reports, and maintain quality standards while building stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• In-depth technical knowledge of loss adjusting and claims handling.
• Proven ability to manage performance against KPIs and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Loss Adjusters across a geographic region.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals to support development.
• Provide coaching and identify training opportunities with technical leaders.
• Personally manage a portfolio of claims and ensure timely resolutions.
• Review and approve loss adjuster reports for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, policyholders and stakeholders.
• Monitor workloads and ensure alignment with SLAs and business objectives.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
