Job summary

RBW Consulting LLP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Process Engineer for medical technology manufacturing scale-up in South Wales. The role combines remote work with frequent travel to the South/West Wales site, as the team scales production and industrialises processes for commercialisation.

You will lead process development, validation and transfer, establish robust procedures, and collaborate across engineering, operations and manufacturing to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as medical devices or diagnostics.
• Strong hands-on manufacturing and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with process validation, technology transfer or scale-up projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process setup, optimization and continuous improvement.
• Support production transfer, process validation and scale-up activities.
• Develop and implement manufacturing procedures, work instructions and best practices.
• Improve process capability, repeatability and production efficiency.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering and lifecycle activities.
• Collaborate across engineering, operations and manufacturing functions to ensure successful production growth.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and drive practical, hands-on solutions.
