Job summary

PlantSea Ltd. in Wales is seeking a Scale-Up Manufacturing Lead to guide the transition from technology development to commercial manufacturing.

You will oversee the day-to-day operation of PlantSea's first manufacturing facility, collaborate with the CTO and technical team, and build systems, processes and a capable team to support growth.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safe, efficient production, continuous improvement and scalable operations as volumes increase.

Qualifications

• Senior manufacturing leader with hands-on experience.
• Experience establishing or operating manufacturing facilities or pilot plants.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment and plant utilities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional manufacturing teams.
• Skilled in writing SOPs and batch records and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility.
• Plan and execute manufacturing campaigns to meet demand.
• Ensure safe, reliable production that meets specifications.
• Monitor performance, resolve issues and optimize yield.
• Recruit, train and develop the manufacturing team and conduct continuous improvement.
