Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to drive secure delivery across multiple MODCloud products. You will embed security into the software delivery lifecycle, govern CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with engineering teams across Azure, AWS and OCI environments on MODCloud estates.

The role requires active SC security clearance and strong leadership to coordinate distributed teams while implementing consistent security controls and automation.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on DevSecOps experience across cloud estates and MOD security requirements.
• Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Proven ability to design secure CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and automate security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and embed DevSecOps practices across multiple MOD digital products.
• Design and govern secure CI/CD and GitOps pipelines.
• Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management and compliance controls.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Work across Kubernetes / Docker / AWS EKS.
• Implement secrets and IAM using Vault and related tools.
• Establish observability, monitoring, logging and audit controls.
• Develop secure-by-design practices aligned to MOD requirements.
• Coordinate DevSecOps engineers, developers and infra teams.
• Create and maintain security processes and runbooks.
