CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced DV Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a high-profile defence programme in the United Kingdom.

The role focuses on delivering and operating secure, mission-critical infrastructure with hands-on Linux administration and a robust DevOps background. You will build, automate, and maintain secure Linux environments, develop CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerised applications while collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability

Qualifications

DV clearance required; active DV clearance essential.
Experience in secure, defence-grade Linux environments.
Hands-on DevOps with automation and CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities

Build, automate and maintain secure Linux-based environments.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and associated services.
Deploy and manage containerised applications.
Work closely with infrastructure, software and security teams to deliver resilient platforms.
Monitor, maintain and optimise system performance and availability.
Active DV Clearance. DevOps tooling including Jenkins, Git, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Ansible.
Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Bash and/or Python scripting.
Experience with version control (Git).
Knowledge of networking, system hardening and security best practices.
