Job summary

Pareto is hiring a Junior Business Development Manager to expand its UK footprint in FMCG/Tech sectors. You will engage prospects with a consultative approach, plan territory activity and travel to client sites as needed while enjoying a largely remote role.

Ideal candidates hold a degree, excel in communication, are self-motivated and confident with presentations. The package includes a £28.35k base salary plus OTE/commission and a supportive, social team with incentives.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to degree level.
• Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed.
• Confident with good presentation skills.
• Driving licence preferred.
• A strong work ethic with a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the company, its marketplace, competitors and target client.
• Undertake effective territory planning and preparation - determine when and which clients/prospects to visit to ensure opportunity is capitalised upon.
• Regularly speak to prospects over the phone and travel to client sites in order to maintain relationships, overcome objections and educate them on the company's value proposition.
• Implement marketing and category initiatives throughout your customer base.
• Manage and monitor the performance of sales throughout your assigned territory.
• Closely observe the company ethos when attending regional and national conferences, networking with existing clients in order to further business generation.
