Job summary

Focus Group is seeking an IT and Cyber Presales Consultant to work remotely with occasional travel to customer sites and our Shoreham office. The role covers technical design and validation of solutions across Microsoft 365, Azure, and security offerings, with a focus on delivering business value during the sales cycle.

You will run discovery calls, craft compelling proposals, and own the technical documentation and diagrams.

Qualifications

• Experience in presales, consultancy or technical advisory roles
• Breadth across Microsoft 365, Azure and Modern Workplace
• Knowledge of MDR/EDR, networking, servers and security basics
• Microsoft accreditations that back hands-on knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support through the full sales cycle.
• Run discovery calls, workshops and technical assessments.
• Design robust, validated solutions with clear cost benefits.
• Present solutions with business value and cost savings.
• Own designs, network diagrams and Statements of Work.
• Lead or co-lead RFP responses under time pressure.
• Coordinate with delivery teams for smooth transition.
