Job summary

Service Service is seeking an experienced trainer to deliver remote insurance training to learners across the UK. You will bring at least 5 years’ experience in an insurance role, hold ACII/CII, and deliver engaging, practical teaching from home.

You will plan schemes of work, develop online resources, assess learners, and maintain CPD compliance with the CII while supporting a flexible, proactive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an insurance role.
• ACII or CII qualification.
• In‑depth knowledge of insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills to relate to learners of all ages.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Creativity to make learning engaging.
• Flexible, positive approach to work.
• Patience and a sense of humour.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare schemes of work, lessons, and sessions.
• Teach across financial services qualifications online and to employers’ sites.
• Research and develop new topics, courses and online resources.
• Teach individuals and small groups from diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Monitor, assess and mark learners’ work with assessor support.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor learners’ progress.
• Set and oversee examinations and liaise with assessment organisations.
• Provide pastoral support as tutor and mentor.
• Collaborate with employers to review learner progress and safety.
