Job summary

Sweco UK is recruiting a Site Field Engineer for our Leeds operations in the Asset Management Business Unit. Based in Leeds with daily site travel, you will assist with technical delivery, produce ICA design outputs and support project delivery to meet time, cost and quality targets.

This role requires electrical qualifications and hands-on experience with instrumentation and control systems. You will supervise ICA contractors, review design documentation, and maintain strong client

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications or apprenticeship
• Instrumentation and process control background including knowledge of Control and Automation systems
• Experience in site supervision of ICA/System Integrator contractors on multiple projects (preferably water and wastewater)
• Experience in preparation and review of design documentation
• Experience in preparation and review of scoping documentation for ICA and telemetry equipment & services
• Awareness of sustainability factors like whole life costs, carbon, performance and risks

Responsibilities

• Attend internal project start-up meetings providing technical perspectives
• Produce design deliverables to achieve optimum engineering solutions
• Deliver ICA projects and communicate design changes to PM
• Participate in technical reviews and check outputs before approval
• Provide input during post-project reviews for continuous improvement
