Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Modernisation Sales Engineer to manage key UK accounts from a remote base, with a focus on outside sales and fostering long-term customer relationships. The role combines engineering insight with strategic sales to deliver tailored HVAC turnkey solutions across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in HVAC or related industries, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical HVAC sales.
• 5+ years in HVAC or related industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify bid opportunities, prepare responses, and lead negotiations with potential clients.
• Be able to manage and sell Technical Turnkey solutions.
• Develop new leads and collaborate with the sales and business development teams to grow the customer base.
• Manage and nurture relationships with prospective key accounts, influencing new business opportunities.
• Attend industry trade shows and events to enhance the company’s visibility and attract potential clients.
• Work autonomously from home, managing your schedule and client engagements.
• Prepare and generate quotations, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing for customers.
• Identifies bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, and negotiates with potential customers.
• Supports the management team representative on prospective target accounts or territories.
