Job summary

Statkraft is recruiting a HV Field Service Engineer to maintain switchgear and power plants up to 400kV across the UK. The role involves regular site travel, with the option to work remotely from home or one of Statkraft’s UK offices when not on site.

You will receive SAP training, investigate alarms, support project delivery, and ensure effective planned and corrective maintenance while upholding high HSE standards.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience from within the energy sector.
• Demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance.
• Previous SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.
• A good understanding of O&M works processes.
• Have a high standard of HSE awareness.
• Knowledgeable in: Power generation, HV networks, Electrical Testing/Analysis, Commissioning.
• MS Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Work on maintenance aspects of our electricity switchgear and plant up to and including 400kV (training and development will be on offer to get you Authorised up to 400kV)
• SAP training and development
• Investigate alarms from the system and provide fault response
• Support with the delivery of projects
• Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks
• Supervise engineering work onsite
• Assess the technical requirements for ongoing projects
