Job summary

Statkraft Energy Ltd is recruiting a HV Field Service Engineer to operate across the UK. The role involves maintenance of switchgear and plant up to 400kV, with travel across sites and occasional remote work from home or office locations. Training to become authorised up to 400kV is provided, along with SAP development and fault response responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have an HNC in Electrical Engineering, energy-sector experience, and a proactive approach to safety and project delivery.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in the energy sector.
• Experience maintaining LV/HV plant and electrical networks.
• UK security clearance eligibility and a clean driving licence; SAP authorisation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work on maintenance aspects of switchgear and plant up to 400kV (training provided).
• SAP training and development.
• Investigate alarms and provide fault response.
• Support the delivery of projects.
• Follow up on planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise engineering work onsite.
• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.
