Job summary

Statkraft is seeking an HV Field Service Engineer to join our Moray, Scotland team. You will maintain switchgear and plant up to 400kV, receive training to attain 400kV authorisation, and investigate alarms with fault response. You will support project delivery and supervise on-site engineering work across the UK.

Expect extensive travel within the UK and occasional abroad, with a strong emphasis on HSE and Power/HV network expertise.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrable experience in the energy sector and working on electrical networks (LV/HV).
• Knowledge of O&M processes and HSE awareness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain switchgear and plant up to 400kV, with training to Authorised up to 400kV.
• Investigate alarms and provide fault response.
• Support delivery of projects and supervise on-site engineering work.
• Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.
