Job summary

Statkraft is seeking a HV Field Service Engineer to cover maintenance on switchgear and power plants up to 400 kV across the UK. The role includes SAP training, fault response, project support, and supervision of engineering work on site.

Travel is extensive, with remote work options from home or UK offices. Candidates should have an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, experience in the energy sector, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in energy sector.
• Experience on electrical networks, LV/HV plant maintenance.
• SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of O&M works processes.
• High standard of HSE awareness.
• Willing to travel extensively in UK and abroad.
• Need right to work in UK and clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work on maintenance of switchgear and plant up to 400kV.
• SAP training and development.
• Investigate alarms from the system and provide fault response.
• Support with the delivery of projects.
• Follow up on execution of planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise engineering work onsite.
• Assess the technical requirements for ongoing projects.
