Job summary

Statkraft is recruiting a HV Field Service Engineer to cover the UK. The role involves maintenance of switchgear and plant up to 400kV, site supervision, and project support. Travel across the UK is required, with remote work possible when not on site.

The candidate will have an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, experience in the energy sector, and SAP familiarity. A clean driving licence and UK work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience within the energy sector.
• Demonstrable experience working on electrical networks, LV/HV maintenance.
• Valid UK work rights and clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electricity switchgear and plant up to 400kV; training available to Authorised up to 400kV.
• Complete SAP training and development.
• Investigate alarms and provide fault response.
• Support project delivery and commissioning activities.
• Follow up on planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise engineering work onsite and ensure safety standards.
• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.
