Job summary

Statkraft is recruiting a HV Field Service Engineer to maintain switchgear and plant up to 400 kV across the UK. The role involves regular travel to multiple operational sites; when on-site work is not required, you can work remotely from home or one of Statkraft’s UK offices.

You will gain SAP training, support project delivery, supervise on-site engineering tasks, and assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical networks and HV/LV plant maintenance.
• Strong HSE awareness and safe working practices.
• Ability to travel across the UK and occasional abroad.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electricity switchgear and plant up to 400kV; training for 400kV Authorisation.
• SAP training and development.
• Investigate alarms and provide fault response.
• Support delivery of projects and planned maintenance tasks.
• Supervise on-site engineering work and site activities.
• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.
