Job summary

Statkraft Energy Ltd in the UK is recruiting a HV Field Service Engineer to maintain switchgear and plant up to 400kV across multiple sites. The role requires regular UK travel and the option to work remotely from home or UK offices when not on site.

You will gain SAP training, support project delivery, and supervision of engineering work onsite, with a focus on ensuring safe, compliant maintenance and continuous grid reliability.

Qualifications

• HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in the energy sector preferred.
• Experience with electrical networks, LV/HV plant maintenance.
• SAP Authorisation would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of O&M processes.
• High standard of HSE awareness.
• Knowledgeable in power generation, HV networks, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain switchgear and plant up to 400 kV (training to 400 kV authorised).
• SAP training and development.
• Investigate alarms and provide fault response.
• Support delivery of projects.
• Follow up on planned and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Supervise engineering work onsite.
• Assess technical requirements for ongoing projects.
