Job description

Operations Manager (Film & Entertainment Projects)

Do you spot things in movies no one else sees?

Do you love film and have the kind of attention to detail that keeps a story watertight? We’re looking for an Operations Manager to help us run projects that support independent film, cinemas, and new digital tools for the screen industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the operations backbone across multiple film projects.
  • Ensure client requests are acknowledged same-day (with help from our AI assistant).
  • Coordinate with designers, data specialists, and developers to deliver smoothly.
  • Keep deadlines on track and tasks.
  • Spot risks or errors early and keep projects running smoothly without drama.

You are:

  • Obsessed with detail — you notice the error before anyone else.
  • Responsive — you don’t leave emails or tasks hanging.
  • Organised — comfortable managing multiple projects at once.
  • Tech-friendly — confident updating a CMS.
  • A film lover — ideally with interest in distribution, exhibition, or digital tools for cinema is a bonus.

Commitment:

  • Freelance / part-time (10–20 hours per week to start).
  • Remote, flexible hours, but must be available to respond within a few hours during the working day.
  • Timezone: Europe or Americas timezones only.

We provide tools and services that help filmmakers and distributors connect with audiences. You’ll be part of a small, ambitious team working at the intersection of film, data, and technology — and your role will keep the whole production running smoothly.
