Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Alliances Manager for France to identify, sign, and manage partnerships that drive partner-sourced pipeline across France.

This remote UK-based role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and other business units to build a robust partner ecosystem, focusing on ERP and eCommerce platforms, SI partners, and adjacent technology providers. Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent in French and English to a professional business standard.
• Demonstrable success in partner, channel, or alliance management in the technology sector with strong French market exposure.
• Experience with ERP/eCommerce ecosystems (SIs, consultancies, or ISV partners) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the French partner ecosystem: recruit, develop, and manage partnerships across the region with a primary focus on FR platforms and system integrators.
• Build trusted relationships at all levels, creating executive alignment on shared goals and commitments.
• Enable and activate partner teams on tax, Avalara products, and France compliance to generate qualified pipeline.
• Work with Avalara's French and EMEA sales teams to ensure referrals and accurate attribution.
• Lead joint business planning and quarterly business reviews with key partners, tracking performance.
• Plan and execute co-marketing activity across France with Partner Marketing support.
• Use tools to maintain data accuracy, analyze partner and pipeline performance, and forecast.
• Provide market intelligence on France dynamics and manage partner inquiries.
