Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking an Alliance Manager to identify, sign, and manage high-value partnerships across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

You will build deep executive relationships and serve as the bridge between DACH partners and Avalara’s teams to surface new opportunities. Qualifications

• Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven success in partner or alliance management in technology, with DACH market experience.
• Experience within SAP ecosystem (SIs, consultancies, or ISV partners) preferred.
• Ability to generate pipeline and engage at C‑Suite level.

Responsibilities

• Own the DACH partner ecosystem, prioritizing SAP SIs and related partners.
• Build relationships across partner organisations up to C‑suite, aligning goals.
• Enable partners with product knowledge and co-marketing, turning insights into pipeline.
• Collaborate with DACH/EMEA sales to ensure referrals and progress.
• Lead joint business planning and quarterly business reviews with partners.
• Plan and execute co‑marketing across DACH with events and campaigns.
• Use data tools to maintain accuracy, analyze performance, and forecast.
• Provide market intelligence on DACH dynamics and partner enquiries.
