Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a disciplined Sales Development Representative to drive growth by prospecting new accounts and generating high-quality leads for the sales team. You will own the pipeline from initial contact to qualification, collaborating with account executives to accelerate deals.

You will conduct market research, execute data-driven campaigns, and develop territory plans. Strong English, Spanish and Italian proficiency, plus experience with Salesforce or similar CRM, are required to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years experience as a sales development representative with a track record of achieving lead/sales quotas.
• Experience in a SaaS and/or Ed Tech environment is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Salesforce or another CRM; fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
• Experience initiating and nurturing relationships with potential customers using targeted outbound prospecting techniques (social media, email, phone).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Prospecting: inform go-to-market strategy and develop a dynamic territory plan.
• Lead Generation: proactively generate new leads through multi-touch campaigns.
• Lead Qualification & Advancement: follow up, qualify, and nurture leads; map decision-makers.
• Collaboration & Communication: keep the sales team updated and CRM current.
• Performance & Development: meet or exceed KPI targets and continuously improve skills.
