Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Suppression Estimator to support UK projects, including high‑value data centre, industrial and commercial builds. The role involves remote or hybrid work alongside Sales and Operations teams to deliver compliant, cost efficient fire suppression solutions.

You will create outline designs in AutoCAD, carry out hydraulic calculations, prepare tenders and liaise with customers and suppliers. Extensive standards knowledge and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire sprinkler, fire suppression, design or estimating environments.
• Strong AutoCAD knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of LPCB, NFPA, FM and BS EN 12845 standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to develop compliant, cost-effective fire suppression solutions.
• Produce outline designs using AutoCAD.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed tenders, quotations and specifications.
• Review customer requirements and technical drawings.
