Job summary

Apogee Corporation is seeking an engineer to service and repair MFD printers at client sites. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance while keeping customers informed and satisfied. The role involves training customers, installing equipment, and managing spare parts inventory.

A typical pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30, with visits to client sites and periodic office meetings. DBS and SC clearance are required for the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as an engineer on MFD printers with IT knowledge for networking and scanning.
• Strong customer-facing background and ability to work toward targets.
• Smart, presentable appearance and willingness to learn new product lines.
• Full, clean driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service visits to address calls and maintain high professional standards.
• Respond to requests for repair of business equipment in a timely manner.
• Diagnose faults and repair through adjustments, cleaning or parts replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide detailed reports and ensure customer acceptance after service.
• Install equipment and ensure optimal performance for customer satisfaction.
• Offer training to customers to maximise equipment efficiency.
• Manage spare parts and consumables inventory to support operations.
