DNA Payments Group is seeking a Trainee Sales Representative to join the DNA Sales Academy and grow a career in field sales across SME clients in the UK. The role is remote with an agreed patch and requires 37.5 hours per week, with a structured six-month academy and concrete progression to the Business Development Consultant role.

No prior sales experience is required; candidates should be self-motivated, coachable and resilient, with strong communication skills and a practical mindset for

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
• Resilient and comfortable with rejection.
• Coachable and willing to apply feedback.
• Reliable, punctual and prepared.
• Confident communication with customers.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to perform simple maths calculations (e.g. 1% of £100).

Responsibilities

• Complete all product, compliance, systems and sales training.
• Manage and develop your assigned territory daily.
• B2B cold calling with 75+ door knocks daily once fully active.
• Target SME businesses with annual card turnover of £50,000 - £7.5m.
• Identify merchant needs and promote DNA Payments, EPOS and Zash solutions.
• Manage CRM and pipeline of opportunities to achieve conversions.
• Work towards 1 self-generated sale per day (20 per average working month).
• Target clients with monthly £50+ net revenue to achieve monthly targets.
• Complete customer applications and support customers through to live and transacting.
• Work with internal teams to deliver and set up products.
• Apply coaching and feedback and demonstrate continued improvement.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, activity, administration and professional conduct.
• Be present on daily huddle calls both in the morning and in the evening.
