Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking two hands-on Professional Services Engineers for a remote UK role. You will deploy and implement enterprise backup and data protection solutions across customer environments, from initial requirements through to handover and successful delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup or Rubrik, and can communicate clearly with customers while partnering with vendor and engineering teams. This is a customer-facing, hands-on delivery position.

• Proven experience delivering backup and data protection solutions.
• Hands-on deployment and implementation across customer environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and implement enterprise backup and data protection solutions.
• Deliver customer projects from initial requirements through to implementation and handover.
• Configure backup technologies across complex customer environments.
• Troubleshoot technical issues throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Work directly with customers during implementations.
• Explain technical requirements and solutions clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with vendor support and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Produce technical and As-Built documentation after deployments.
• Work independently across multiple customer projects.
