Job summary

Veeam is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in the United Kingdom to partner with field sales, resellers, and end users. The role involves translating business objectives into technical requirements and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations.

You will manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales cycle, support POCs and Hands-on Labs, and collaborate with product development to gather customer feedback. Travel across the UK & Ireland is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a pre-sales IT role.
• Experience deploying or using Veeam solutions.
• VMCE/VMCA certifications are advantageous.
• Strong virtualization background (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV).
• Cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiar with SaaS like Office 365 and Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into technical requirements for end users and partners.
• Deliver presentations and demos to stakeholders at varying levels.
• Serve as technical advisor during the sales process for Veeam solutions.
• Assist customers with POCs, Hands-on Labs, and Bootcamps.
• Maintain CRM records of customer engagement (Salesforce).
• Collaborate with Veeam Partners and Product/Engineering teams.
