Job summary

Twinkl Ltd. seeks an Engineering Manager to lead one autonomous product-centric team, owning the roadmap, delivery, and production health. This role combines technical stewardship with people leadership to drive strategic delivery across the organisation.

You will mentor engineers, manage performance and promotions, and collaborate with Design, Product and Education to translate complex decisions for stakeholders. Remote work with Sheffield HQ visits will form part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven engineering leadership atSenior Engineer level or above.
• Experience delivering high-quality, maintainable software with strong documentation.
• Ability to manage production health, incidents and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical roadmap and ensure delivery across sprints.
• Drive quality, maintainable software, and practical technical debt management.
• Lead, mentor and develop engineers through feedback, reviews and promotions.
• Collaborate with Design, Product and Education to align technical decisions with business goals.
