Turnitin, LLC is seeking a self-sufficient Software Engineering Manager to lead and maintain products in the Integrity portfolio. You will manage globally distributed teams, mentor ICs, and partner with Product Managers, Customer Success, and other engineering groups to deliver high-quality software.

You will drive technical excellence, define roadmaps, and align delivery with business goals while fostering a culture of accountability and psychological safety across the organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience collaborating across time zones and geographies.
• Hands-on engineering skills with modern software practices.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks and Java in AWS serverless environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with globally distributed teams.
• Proven project management ability to prioritize and deliver initiatives.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Leadership across multiple teams including hiring, mentoring, and development.
• Proven coachingTrack record with individual contributors and peers.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
• Hands-on experience with scalable front-end and back-end apps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Experience in a similar high-tech leadership role.
