Job summary

Turnitin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer I to join the Quality Engineering team. You will design, write, and maintain automated and manual tests, working with product developers and fellow QAs in an Agile scrum setting to deliver high-quality applications.

You will apply modern QA approaches including AI-assisted testing, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure robust user experiences across Turnitin products.

Qualifications

• Proven UI and API automation experience with established frameworks.
• Strong STLC knowledge and QA methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD/CT tools (Jenkins, Git).
• Agile experience (Scrum & Kanban) and test data management.
• Familiarity with AI-driven testing capabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain automated and manual tests.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across releases.
• Execute tests across multiple platforms and environments.
• Investigate, triage, and track defects to closure.
• Support test automation framework improvements and CT pipelines.
