Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Project Engineer to support major cabling and power infrastructure projects across the UK. You will work with Project Managers, site teams and supply chain partners to ensure safe, timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

You will coordinate activities from pre-construction through to commissioning, reviewing technical drawings and documentation, and contributing to risk management and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infrastructure, utility or power projects.
• Experience coordinating construction activities and site teams.
• Ability to assess risks and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver cabling and power infrastructure works from pre-construction to handover.
• Review and implement drawings, specs and construction documentation.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and site docs meet safety and project standards.
• Manage subcontractors and monitor progress against programme and budget.
• Maintain accurate project records and reports.
