Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick is searching for an Electrical Engineer to work on large-scale construction projects across the UK. The role involves designing and integrating electrical building services and coordinating with CDM roles to ensure safe, compliant handover.

You will bring an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent, professional accreditation, and knowledge of Electrical Safe Systems of Work. UK project experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent training.
• Relevant Professional accreditation is advantageous.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
• Experience with Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in design.
• Knowledge of CDM designer duties and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement temporary electrical building services design solutions.
• Ensure integration, technical assurance, compliance, health, safety and sustainability of design for defect-free handover.
• Coordinate with Principle designer and Principle Contractor per CDM requirements.
• Provide design solutions for distribution, lighting, sockets, plant and equipment including fire alarm/detection.
• Support Design Managers with design/construction reviews and sign-off.
