Job summary

Careers Wales Connect is seeking an Employability Coach (Welsh Essential) for a full-time role across Wales. The position is predominantly home-based with an office base and periodic office attendance. You will support diverse clients, deliver information and advice for career planning, assist with CVs and job searching, and drive sustainable outcomes in education, training or employment.

Welsh language ability is essential; the role promotes inclusive practice and customer-centered support.

Qualifications

• The successful applicant will be educated to Level 3 standard or equivalent, ideally in a related area, or have experience of working at this level.
• If you do not already have the Level 4 Diploma in Career Information and Advice, training and support will be provided to achieve this qualification.

Responsibilities

• support and inspire their clients to secure the best possible career available for them
• provide information and advice to support clients to manage their careers
• provide employability support (help with CVs, Job Searching activities etc) to those seeking to return to work or to change jobs
• help clients achieve sustained positive outcomes (education, training, employment)
