Job summary

Full Circle Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growth-focused team delivering water and wastewater projects across the UK. The role supports hybrid/remote working with UK-wide travel to panel manufacturers and fabricators, and coordinates with multiple disciplines to ensure compliant, deliverable electrical designs.

Candidates should bring a background in electrical design for process plants or automation, robust experience producing

Qualifications

Experience delivering electrical design for process plants or industrial automation.
Experience producing electrical specifications and schedules.
Knowledge of control panels, motor control, instrumentation and automation.
Ability to travel across the UK to inspect panels.
Ability to work independently within a project team.
Strong communication and supplier-management skills.

Responsibilities

Produce electrical schedules and design documentation.
Prepare technical requirements for control panels and electrical equipment.
Support procurement of control panels and electrical packages.
Review panel designs and supplier documentation.
Inspect control panels at UK manufacturing facilities.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, project and commissioning engineers.
Liaise with clients, Tier 1 contractors, suppliers and panel manufacturers.
Ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
Provide technical support throughout manufacture, installation, testing and commissioning.
