Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a Principal Electrical Engineer for the Water Sector in the UK. You will lead technical delivery, produce and approve intricate electrical designs for process plants and pumping stations, and oversee digital design workflows.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, engage clients, and support framework growth while mentoring staff and codifying best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Substantial water sector experience.
• Chartered or working towards chartership and membership of a relevant professional body.
• Ideally postgraduate qualification and demonstrable AMP programme experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across UK-wide water industry frameworks.
• Produce, review and approve complex electrical designs, specs, calculations and docs.
• Provide design leadership and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Engage with clients and oversee digital design workflows.
