Job summary

Creative Alliance is seeking an experienced Development Coach to support apprentices across creative, digital, marketing, events and related apprenticeship programmes. You will coordinate the apprenticeship journey, conduct reviews, set learning activities and provide developmental feedback, working with specialist tutors when needed.

The role is largely home-based with planned travel to apprentice workplaces across England, offering autonomy in managing your diary and caseload and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience with apprenticeship delivery and learner management.
• Experience conducting progress reviews and maintaining training plans or ILPs.
• Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, knowledge/skills/behaviours and EPA readiness.
• Familiarity with apprenticeship e-portfolios or learner-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage an agreed caseload of apprentices from onboarding through to successful completion.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with apprentices, employers and workplace managers.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and keep training plans and individual learning plans up to date.
• Provide structured one-to-one coaching, mentoring and pastoral support.
• Set assignments, workplace projects and developmental activities appropriate to the apprenticeship standard.
• Review learner work and provide clear, constructive and timely feedback.
• Set ambitious but achievable targets, follow up agreed actions and intervene early where progress is at risk.
• Help apprentices build high-quality portfolios and prepare for Gateway, End-Point Assessment and successful completion.
• Coordinate specialist teaching and technical support where this is needed.
• Maintain accurate learner records using OneFile and Creative Alliance systems and support safeguarding, quality and compliance requirements.
