Job summary

National Skills Agency is seeking exceptional Skills Coaches to support apprentices across the UK. You will deliver personalised 1:1 coaching, assess work, provide feedback, and help learners apply learning in real-world contexts.

Join a dynamic, ambitious team delivering Level 4-6 programmes, with flexible remote working and occasional in-person collaboration. Experience with e-portfolios and safeguarding compliance preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching UK-based apprenticeships with measurable impact.
• Strong understanding of e-portfolios and digital learning tools.
• Ability to embed knowledge in practice and drive learner outcomes.
• Relevant teaching or assessor qualifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and provide personalised 1:1 coaching.
• Assess project work and provide constructive, development-focused feedback.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and set measurable learner goals.
• Support learning embedded in real-world workplace practice.
• Facilitate engaging workshops virtually or in person when needed.
• Document progress in e-portfolios and collaborate with employers.
