Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Sales Engineer to drive growth by applying technical expertise and understanding customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies.

In this fully remote role, you will engage with new and existing customers, run product demonstrations, and develop medium-to-long-term plans to protect and grow key relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, physics, materials science, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years’ experience of customer-facing roles with a minimum of 3 years in a sales role.
• Prior experience selling technical and/or scientific products with long sales cycles.
• Demonstrated history of meeting quota and growing sales in an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium to long-term sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with your targeted customers.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.
