Global Credit Controller — Cash-Flow & Collections

Job summary

dmg events is seeking a Credit Controller to maximise cash-flow and minimise bad debts across our global client base and sister subsidiaries. You will chase debts, maintain the finance system and communicate with internal teams to support timely collections.

Willingness to travel to other offices and overseas events to collect payments is required. Strong knowledge of Salesforce and Financial Force, plus Excel/Word proficiency, is important.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a finance department.
• Experience handling international payments is desirable.
• Experience in the events industry is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of finance systems, notably Salesforce and Financial Force.

Responsibilities

• Chase debts on accounts receivable through calls, emails and letters to ensure payment before exhibitions.
• Be flexible to work international hours in the run up to events to maximise debt collection.
• Maintain accurate records in the finance system (Cash/Credit) for customer communications and potential actions.
• Respond to account queries and minimise the risk of bad debts.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Travel to other offices and overseas events to collect debt and communicate with stakeholders.
