Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civils and groundworks projects with UK-wide exposure. You will drive safe, profitable delivery from pre-construction through handover, coordinating Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing programmes, managing budgets and commercial performance, collaborating with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and supporting tender reviews while identifying operational improvements

Qualifications

• Experience as Contracts Manager in civils, groundworks or reinforced concrete construction.
• Strong knowledge of drainage, infrastructure and enabling works.
• Experience delivering commercial and data centre projects.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing several projects simultaneously, ensuring safe, profitable and successful delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
• Leading Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery teams.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Reviewing programmes and project performance.
• Driving health and safety standards across all sites.
• Managing project budgets and commercial performance.
• Supporting pre-construction activities and tender reviews.
• Identifying operational improvements and efficiencies.
• Providing regular reports to the Managing Director.
