Job summary
Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Clinical Customer Development Specialist to lead clinical market development across a defined territory in the UK and Nordics. You will engage clinicians, lab professionals and decision-makers to drive adoption of Procalcitonin and related biomarkers, supporting educational activities and biomarker-guided pathways.
The role requires 3+ years in healthcare or diagnostics with strong presentation and analytical skills, and a willingness to travel extensively within
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related field; an advanced scientific/clinical degree is an advantage.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, diagnostics or a related environment.
- Experience in in vitro diagnostics, biomarkers or clinical areas such as Critical Care, Infectious Diseases, Emergency Medicine, sepsis or antimicrobial stewardship is an advantage.
- Experience engaging clinical users and healthcare decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Drive clinical demand and adoption of Procalcitonin (PCT) and other biomarkers.
- Engage healthcare professionals, clinical users and decision-makers across medical specialties.
- Analyze and prioritize accounts, identify stakeholders, and develop account-specific strategies.
- Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at events and congresses.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Marketing and other commercial teams.
- Ensure thorough Salesforce documentation and territory growth.
