Juol Partners is recruiting a Territory Manager for London and the South East, targeting Biomedical Scientists moving from the lab to a commercial role. You will provide technical credibility to NHS trusts and private labs, and receive structured onboarding with senior mentorship.
The role focuses on consultative technical selling within a diagnostic portfolio, building relationships with lab managers and procurement teams while developing territory plans and managing pipelines.
An established IVD supplier is hiring a Territory Manager for London and the South East. The portfolio spans multiple clinical diagnostic disciplines, alongside the instrumentation that runs them, sold into NHS trusts, pathology networks and private laboratories across the UK and Europe.
This role is aimed at a Biomedical Scientist who wants to move out of the lab and into a commercial career. You will not be expected to arrive with a sales background. You will be expected to arrive with genuine technical credibility, because that is what makes the difference in front of a lab manager. The territory covers London and the Home Counties, running east through Essex and Suffolk into East Anglia, west towards Oxford and south to the Sussex coast.
You will manage and develop business across NHS trusts, private pathology networks and clinical laboratories, acting as a technical advisor to lab managers, clinical leads and procurement teams rather than as a conventional salesperson. There is structured commercial onboarding and sales training, and direct mentorship from senior members of the field team who have made the same move themselves.
This is one of the cleaner routes out of the lab. You keep using your scientific training every day, you get proper commercial training rather than being thrown in, and you join a business that is expanding its range and its European footprint. Career progression from here runs into senior territory manager roles.
Competitive base with circa 20% uncapped commission, company car or car allowance, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, contributory pension and life assurance.
