Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Coder to join the established Clinical Coding Department. The role requires at least 2 years’ experience coding with ICD-10 and OPCS classifications and strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

You will work with clinicians and operational staff, manage your own workload, and contribute to accurate coding quality essential for Trust funding, audits and research.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in coding using ICD-10 and OPCS.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Code inpatient data using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications.
• Interact with clinicians and operational staff to ensure accuracy and workload management.
