Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Clinical Coder to join our Clinical Coding Department in Oxford. You will apply ICD-10 and OPCS coding, interact with clinicians and operational staff, and be responsible for your own workload while upholding high standards of accuracy. A home working arrangement is available subject to criteria, with NHS experience preferred.

The role supports critical hospital finance, governance and research through reliable data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in coding using ICD-10 & OPCS.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Experience with Electronic Patient Record Systems (EPR).

Responsibilities

• Extract and translate inpatient information using ICD-10 and OPCS.
