Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Clinical Coder within an NHS or independent healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of NHS Data Standards and Clinical Coding Standards.
• Ability to interpret complex clinical information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and clinical documentation to assign accurate clinical codes.
• Ensure coding is completed accurately and within required timescales.
• Support internal and external clinical coding audits.
