Job summary

Guidant Global is hiring a Recovery Claims Handler for a remote role. The position offers a payrate of £13.39 per hour and a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Contract length is 3 months with a possibility of extension.

You will monitor a portfolio of active hires on non-fault claims and liaise with repairers and insurers to recover costs. You will ensure accurate recording of information, update customers on claim progression, and validate that cover is in force

Responsibilities

• Monitoring a portfolio of active hires on non-fault claims
• Liaising with repairers, underwriting insurers and third‑party insurers to recover costs
• Keeping customers updated on progression of vehicle damage claim and hire car
• Ensuring hire durations are justified with accurate recording of information
• Recording management of active hire to recovery all Accident Assist costs
• Validating relevant cover is in force for a claim and flagging possible fraud markers
• Supporting cost, service and process efficiency projects across the team
