Job summary

AG Barr Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Business Unit Controller to lead the profit-and-loss for a full business unit. You will drive strategic growth, coordinate category management, brand activation, digital and supply chain teams, and partner with Morrisons on joint business plans.

You will forecast, report financially, manage relationships with senior stakeholders, and coach a high-performing team, while overseeing remote operations across Stores, Online and Q-Commerce channels.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of delivering strong business results.
• Significant FMCG experience; grocery or impulse-category experience is an advantage.
• Strong people management, coaching and team-development skills.
• Understanding of category-led selling and strategic business planning.
• Experience managing senior-level internal and external relationships.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and present effectively at different organisational levels.
• Strong IT skills, including CRM systems, forecasting tools and Google Workspace.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall P&L and deliver sales, profitability and growth targets.
• Lead strategic account planning and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement commercial and brand growth initiatives.
• Monitor performance, prepare forecasts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Use market insights and data to guide business decisions.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
