Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to join the newly formed Enterprise Change team. The role focuses on delivering projects that enhance how NHSP supports NHS Trusts, with remote work predominating and occasional travel for meetings and workshops.

You will lead analysis, facilitate workshops, map processes and ensure requirements traceability, supporting BAU handovers and project delivery within a hybrid/remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering transformation across technology and operations.
• Strong skills in process modelling, requirements definition, and solution design.
• Confident facilitator of workshops and collaborative sessions, with a constructive and challenging approach.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels.
• Skilled in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in benefits tracking, testing support, and business readiness for BAU handover.
• Active contributor to Business Analysis and Programme/Project Communities of Practice.
• Proficient user of tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Miro / Mural, Azure DevOps / Asana, JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across technology and operational change projects.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Develop process maps, gap analyses and impact assessments.
• Work closely with Project and Programme Managers to support successful delivery.
• Support testing, business readiness and the transition of projects into BAU.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and digitisation.
• Maintain clear documentation, governance and requirements traceability.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
